My name is Ingrid Meyer. And I am a 7-year cancer survivor. I was given less then 3 months to live when diagnosed with metastatised colon cancer that spread to my liver. At first I was accepting my near death, and then after about a week, a friend came to me with a bottle of
Essiac Tea, and said please drink this, it saved my father and I believe it can save you. I figured what do I have to lose.. I went through the first bottle and didn't really feel all that much better. She came back to see me after about a week with another bottle and a few books. I started reading the books, and was amazed to learn of the importance of nutrition and all the ailments that could be cured simply by giving your body the nutrition it needs. At that time I had been put in a hospice. Within a couple of weeks my friend had joined up with my family and gotten me out of hospice. Once I was home, they were all so supportive and dedicated to helping me overcome cancer. And they all had so much faith, eventually so did I. I changed my diet to not include any meat, sweets, or processed foods. I basically ate nothing but fresh fruits and vegetables and cottage cheese, I did a
juice fast 3 days out of the week. And then although reluctant at first I finally started doing enemas which helped so greatly. Within a month I was actually feeling like I was getting better, although I didn't believe it at first. Then my friend and decided I should start taking supplements. We got some
vitamin C powder, and I started with 10 grams per day, and soon was up to 20 grams. And I started taking
liquid kelp, and some multi-minerals, and
acidophilus. After a few months I was feeling great, although at one point I started swelling up pretty bad, and we realized I had to detoxify my body of the waste from the cancer cells dying off. I started taking more enemas, and this time
coffee enemas were used, hot and cold showers,
Hydrogen peroxide baths, and then another friend brought me some
liquid silver. This helped greatly, and to make a long story short, that was over 7 years ago. I am now 60 years old. Since my cancer I have been lucky to welcome into my life a daughter-in-law, 3 new grandchildren, I've taken up gardening, I walk almost 2 miles every day, and people say I look 10 years younger than I did 10 years ago! I owe my life to all those who supported me. I know that changing my diet and detoxifying are what saved my life. I hate to see anyone go through the misery that chemotherapy and radiation put them through. And I hate to see anyone lose their life to cancer when there truly are natural treatments that work!!
